This has been an exciting fall for the University of Iowa Press!

In addition to celebrating their 50th Anniversary, UI Press authors have been interviewed, honored and reviewed all across the literary world. Here are just a few updates from the press:

• The Washington Post ran an interview with author Paul Becker about her book House on Stilts: Mothering in an Age of Opioid Addiction.
   
• The New York Times ran an excellent review for Ashley Wurzbacher’s Happy Like This. (Wurzbacher was also designated as a 2019 National Book Award 5 authors under 35!)  The Times raved "This is a writer at the top of her game; but hopefully she’s only just getting started.” 
   
• Happy Like This will also be featured in the January edition of Oprah Magazine.
   
• And UI Press author Don Waters was mentioned in this NYT Book review.
