The Iowa City Book Festival, presented by the University of Iowa Libraries, has announced that Audrey Niffenegger, author of "The Time Traveler’s Wife" and "Her Fearful Symmetry," and David Rhodes, author of "Driftless," will appear at this summer’s book festival July 16-18 in Iowa City.

The two authors will be part of the Shambaugh Author Series on Saturday, July 17, at the Iowa City Book Festival, a three-day celebration of reading, writing and books.

The Iowa City Book Festival will begin on Friday with an author dinner in the Main Library. Saturday is festival day in Gibson Square with booksellers, music, children's activities, food vendors, book arts demonstrations, readings and panel discussions. Sunday will be "A Day in the City of Literature." Local businesses of all kinds throughout Iowa City will participate with readings, special activities all day.
