The Iowa Avenue Literary Walk celebrates works by 49 different writers who have ties to Iowa, from Kurt Vonnegut and Flannery O'Connor to Tennessee Williams, John Irving and others. Completed in 2000, the Literary Walk is comprised of a series of bronze relief panels that feature authors' words, visually connected by quotations stamped into the concrete sidewalk.
