ForeWord Magazine recently reviewed Primary Care: More Poems by Physicians, published by the University of Iowa Press, in its annual round-up of new poetry books. The book is described as an "excellent anthology of fifty-two physicians who have found an outlet for reflection in writing after hours. Their poems examine decisive life moments shared between physician and patient -- and times when the physician struggles to make sense of what's transpired."
